We work on the proper functioning of our modules on Dolibarr native environments. We can not guarantee that it will work properly due to modifications made to the Dolibarr kernel files or with the use of other additional modules.
Compatibility with Dolibarr
Our modules are compatible with the latest stable version of Dolibarr available at the time of their release. We then provide maintenance for the higher versions of Dolibarr ensuring their backward compatibility to two previous major versions.
We will inform you in the documentation of each module if an incompatibility with another module is known to us and, if necessary, if a solution exists.
The latest versions of our modules are installed on our demo website and made available on the Dolistore.
The ChangeLogs of our modules are updated to any release of a new version and can be viewed on our site. The versions of our modules, compatible with versions 3.9 and higher of Dolibarr, allow you to quickly identify if your environment has their latest version by a color code and a tooltip.
- In the list of modules in your environment:
- The version of the module is displayed in black: your version of the module is up to date.
- The version of the module is displayed in orange: a new version is available.
- The version do the module is displayed in red: you are using an experimental version.
- On the About tab of the configuration page of our modules:
The display of this information requires an Internet connection. To disable automatic retrieval of new modules versions, enable patasmonkey_skip_checkversion to 1 on Home > Setup > Other.
If you install a module for which the required minimum version of Dolibarr is greater than the one used, you will not be able to activate it: you will have to go back to the latest version of the module compatible with your version of Dolibarr or update your version of Dolibarr taking then all the precautions necessary for this operation..
Changes on the version numbers of our modules correspond to the following mask:
- First digit: major evolution of the module, adding an important function for example.
- Second digit: technical evolution of the module often following a new version of dolibarr.
- Third digit: corrective or minor technical evolution of the module.
Before updating, make sure that the module is officially compatible with the Dolibarr version on which you want to install it.
To update a module, download it again to the Dolistore with the identifier used during the initial purchase. We always make the latest versions of our modules available for download on the Dolistore.
Access to the updates of our modules is free for 1000 days from their date of purchase on the Dolistore.
Unzip the files of the latest version of the module into the root directory of your environment and confirm the replacement of those already present. For an update to work properly, it is recommended that you disable a module before replacing its files and reactivating it.
At the end of the update, it is advised to repeat the desactivation / activation operation to ensure that the tables in your database are up-to-date.
